Little Leah will amaze you, she has an incredible amount of detail and i pride myself on the standards i have set for myself.
When you get her home you will see much more than even my camera can pick up, Many of my New ''Parents'' are so happily suprised :-).

I have even had one Dear Mummy get out her maginifiying Glass to check out my new technique of ''Pores'' all over the baby's skin!! :-)

Hair.........
Little Leah's blonde, Baby soft hair is unique to her, It ahs 3 shades of blonde ranging from light blonde at the front to darker blonde and then almost a soft brown at the back. every baby done by me has a different hairline and a distinguishing way in which each ''grows''some are thinner than others, some are even nearly bald.

No Two babies heads of hair are alike!

...Her hair is Micro Planted strand by strand, using the finest needle available (as with all my baby's)
The hair is very Fine and I only use Premium Grade Mohair, for that all important baby soft feel and look.
She has a Little Swirl in the back of her hair and it is all planted following the natural way a baby's hair would grow :-).
It is very healthy hair and has a natural shine to it.

Can you see her ear hole? I open the ears on all my babies and i do not simply put a hole in the ear" i shape it to the proper shape and back it with dark felt and seal it into place, it is quite tricky but well worth the realism. You see i stop at nothing to achieve the most realistic "baby" for you as i want my "adoptive parents" to even catch themselves wondering is the baby real? when holding thier little one :-).

 

I use real babies as my models and i am always trying to bring each one over the brink of realisim, as close as i possibly can get!!!

Little Leah does have a stork bite apparent on her left eyelid and is quite natural for a baby of her age to have one.It in no way detracts away from her natural beauty, it merely enhances her realisim!

All That i have learnt over a long period of time when creating My Many Babies, has brought me to where i am today.
I am very proud,
but still get very embarrassed when people say words like ''Amazing'' and ''Stunned'' to me about my work!!

The hardest part for me is accepting such compliments, but at the same time i am happy to recieve such lovely feedack so that i know my work is appreciated.

and it is your feedback and lovely emails that keep me ever enthusiastic and ready to try new techinques :-).

I get right up close when i work and put in very fine micro details..., then i get further away and add even more detail, many ultra fine layers of colouring are blended in, which completes the over all picture of a real infant with truly transparent skin.
This is very time consuming but the over all effect makes my work the quality that you see in my babies.
Because when you get them up close, I want you to be able to still wonder if the baby IS REAL! :-)

I even pay attention to the fact that there are places that have more shine than others where the skin is naturaly tight or thin.
I am Into Portraying REALISM with my babies and some things are not the norm in baby dolls, but they are in real babies, so thats what i put in,... tastefuly :-)

... Never is any ''birth'' rushed! For all babies will be born in thier own Sweet time :-).

Little Leah has Been Coloured Using Heat Set Pure Earth colours that are light fast. They are derived from the natural sources of the Earth.... Very permanent and will stand the test of time.

All techniques i use are permanent!! Even the spit bubbles!!
